Mind Body Co-op & Kaleidoscope

At Mind Body Co-op, we value community.  We have partnered with Kaleidoscope, a community organization located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Kaleidoscope supports Chicago youth through foster care, adoption, and a myriad of other family and individual services. Kaleidoscope’s mission is to enhance child and family well-being by delivering innovative, individualized care and strengthening community connections. The vision of the organization is that all children and youth have the opportunity to enjoy safe and healthy lives nurtured by supportive adults and engaged communities. Mind Body Co-op Chicago has partnered with Kaleidoscope to focus on supporting their foster care and enhanced clinical community program. This program connects clinicians and Kaleidoscope clients ages 8 to 21 who are seeking mental health support, which could include psychotherapy, medication management, and psychological testing. Select clinicians at Mind Body Co-op work with Kaleidoscope clients navigating trauma, attachment, gender identity, life skills, symptom management, crisis management, substance use, nutritional support, and parental support, among many other presenting concerns.

Through this community partnership, we strive to help close the mental health care gap that many children, adolescents, and their caregivers in Chicago face when navigating the foster care system.
