My name is Dr. Alecia Hurley, and I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner committed to helping clients to live their best lives by utilizing a collaborative and client-centered approach. I aim to provide compassionate and empathetic care in order to promote healing. My goal is to meet you where you’re at, in order to help you achieve your goals and reach your highest potential. Therapy is an integral part of recovery, and medications may be beneficial to aid in the healing process. I am passionate about connecting with people, and helping them to gain new ways of coping with life’s various stressors, regardless of clinical diagnosis.
I earned my Masters in Nursing and my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP), specializing in psychiatry, from Rush University. I have experience at the inpatient level of care with children, adolescents, and adults. My experience is in patients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders and substance use disorders.
