Elizabeth D’Amore, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
My passion lies in working with individuals who are seeking support while navigating fertility issues and family planning, as well as those in the antepartum or postpartum periods. As a parent myself, I understand the unique difficulties of fertility, pregnancy, and the journey of parenthood. I know what it feels like to have the sense that you have lost yourself, and I am here to support you and tell you that you are not alone.
As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in a holistic approach to mental health care. Each person is a unique individual with their own story which influences and shapes their life. I use this approach to choose medication and non-pharmacological treatments to help alleviate your symptoms.
My name is Dr. Liz D’Amore (she/her) and I am a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University specializing in Psychiatry and I have experience in critical care, emergency psychiatry, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). I treat adults of all ages and have experience working with clients who have mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma disorders, psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. I am passionate about working with women on their journey to becoming a mother, including fertility planning, all phases of pregnancy, and post-partum.
