Together at the Table: In-Person Meal Support Group for Eating Disorder Recovery
Together at the Table is an in-person meal support therapy for eating disorder recovery designed to help individuals practice eating in a supportive, in-person setting while challenging food fears, social anxiety, and rigid food rules.This in-person eating disorder recovery group serves Lakeview and the greater Chicago area. Members of the group will bring their meal and the group will eat together, working independently on their individual food goals before, during and after the meal. These groups are led by a Amber Rosalez RDN, LDN, CED-S who participates in a meal with the members and guides intention setting, goal sharing, and group processing of the experience. These groups may occur off-site if the members agree as a group to participate in an eating experience that involves going out into the community.
