“Everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported as their full, authentic self.”

Therapy can be a powerful place to explore life’s big questions—about identity, emotions, relationships, culture, and the transitions that shape who we are. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and identity exploration. My clients are often curious, thoughtful, and deeply self-aware, yet still feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

As a bilingual clinician and former international student, I bring lived experience and clinical knowledge to my work with immigrants, international students, and clients navigating bicultural or multicultural identities. I’m particularly passionate about supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those who hold multiple, intersecting identities. I approach therapy through a lens of cultural humility and curiosity—honoring the values, traditions, and stories that shape your experience of the world.

My work is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your story. I integrate modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based interventions to help clients build insight and practical tools. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all—it’s a relationship where we co-create space for healing, growth, and self-trust.

I’m familiar with how cultural values like collectivism, filial piety, and social harmony influence emotional expression and family roles, especially in East Asian communities. I also understand the unique challenges of navigating intergenerational expectations, spiritual identity, and mental health stigma. Whether we’re exploring Buddhist, Confucian, Christian, or secular frameworks, I welcome the integration of spirituality in therapy when meaningful to you.

I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Music from the University of Rochester and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University.
