Psychotherapist
Individual & Couples Therapist
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Whether you’re feeling emotionally disconnected from your partner, stuck in repetitive arguments,or unsure how to rebuild trust, you deserve support. As a couples therapist in the Loop,Chicago, I help couples identify unhelpful patterns and, over time, reconnect with the reasons they chose each other in the first place.
Using evidence-based approaches such as the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT), I primarily work with couples in their 30s and 40s who are balancing work, parenting, and the pressures of daily life. As a result, our work focuses on increasing emotional safety, strengthening communication, and rebuilding intimacy—one session at a time.
Couples Counseling Services I Provide
- Rebuilding trust after infidelity
- Managing parenting and career stress
- Reducing emotional distance and miscommunication
- Navigating conflict avoidance and relationship anxiety
- Pre-marital counseling and long-term relationship tune-ups
As a result, clients often leave sessions with new tools, deeper insight, and a renewed sense of partnership. Importantly, therapy is collaborative and paced to meet your relationship’s needs.
Therapy for Men: Anxiety, Trauma, and Emotional Resilience
As a male-identified therapist, I understand how difficult it can be to talk about emotions—especially in a world that often values control over vulnerability. At the same time, meaningful change requires space for honesty and reflection. I provide a setting where men can explore anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity without judgment, and with a therapist who genuinely gets it.
In addition, I use practical, evidence-based approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Whether you’re navigating burnout, anger, emotional disconnection, or the long-term impact of trauma, we’ll work together to clarify your values and build emotional strength and flexibility. Over time, this work supports greater resilience and emotional awareness.
A Little About Me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in the tech industry and also trained as a personal trainer. Because of this, my approach integrates mind-body awareness with emotional and relational insight. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors—hiking, kayaking, biking, and being with my dogs.
