The mission at the Mind Body Co-op is to help clients heal their mind, body, and spirit. We provide a patient-first approach that begins with exceptional clinical work. Our talented team of therapeutic and psychiatric professionals is central to our clients’ success.

One way we help our clinicians work more effectively is through the implementation of Measurement-Based Care (MBC). MBC directly supports this mission by valuing both objective measurement and the human connection between clinician and client. This balance allows every patient to feel supported on their path to healing while being able to measure their progress. It reinforces the idea that treatment adapts to each person’s needs. Likewise, MBC embodies our commitment to care that is both scientifically grounded and deeply personal. Measurement-Based Care combines the objectivity of data with the empathy of our clinicians. Each plan is tailored by the clinician to the individual but guided by clear measurements. MBC ensures patients are not only heard but also understood through outcomes tracked by both patients and clinicians. It helps our therapists adjust care in real time so treatment grows with the patient. At Mind Body Co-op, MBC is how we bring science and compassion together—giving patients progress they can see and feel. Anxiety is one of the most common challenges people face, but it can be difficult to measure. Unlike a physical injury, you can’t always see the signs. That’s why our clinicians use the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7). This simple questionnaire helps show how severe anxiety feels, track progress over time, and identify barriers to healing. The GAD-7 is trusted by professionals worldwide because it turns complex emotions into clear data. These scores give patients and therapists a tangible way to communicate about symptoms and set goals together. By making anxiety measurable, the scale turns something abstract into something we can work on and improve.

Benefits of Measurement-Based Care

Research shows that Measurement-Based Care helps patients achieve better results and stay more engaged in their treatment. By using clear data, our clinicians can create plans based on real needs. Patients following a measurement-based plan often experience stronger outcomes. MBC also helps therapists notice small changes early, before setbacks occur. With regular check-ins, patients can see their progress in numbers that make sense. Over time, this shared understanding strengthens the therapeutic relationship and keeps patients actively involved in their healing journey.

The Role of Regular Measurement with a Personal Touch

At Mind Body Co-op, we know that data is important—but it never replaces the role of our therapists. Instead, it enhances their work. Regular check-ins give therapists tools to guide meaningful conversations, celebrate progress, and keep treatment on track. For patients, these measurements provide concrete proof of growth. For therapists, they highlight which strategies are effective and which need to be adjusted. For example, a therapist might introduce a new coping skill and quickly see through the data whether it’s helping. MBC makes it easier to identify these changes early, improve efficiency, and reduce treatment time. Every decision is based on both data and dialogue, creating a care experience that is supportive, focused, and effective.

Highlighting the Impact of Our Data

At Mind Body Co-op, we’ve seen firsthand how Measurement-Based Care makes a difference. From 1,667 clients, we’ve collected over 12,000 GAD-7 assessments—giving us a clear picture of how patients improve over time. On average, baseline scores started at 9.47 and dropped to 7.3 after twenty weeks of care. Even after just four weeks, patients showed improvement, with average scores moving to 8.23. The trend is clear: the longer patients stay engaged in treatment, the stronger their progress becomes. Healing takes time, commitment, and the right support—and MBC helps show just how far patients have come.
