Living in a vibrant, fast-paced city can be exciting—yet it can also feel lonely, overwhelming, or emotionally exhausting. As a trauma-informed therapist in Chicago, I understand how easily people begin disconnecting from others, hiding parts of who they are, or relying on coping behaviors that once felt helpful but now feel unmanageable. Whether you’re early in recovery, navigating relapse, or struggling despite past progress, you’re not alone—and change is possible.

You don’t have to be fixed to begin—healing starts when you’re met with safety, honesty, and support. I believe change becomes possible when shame is replaced with curiosity, compassion, and connection.
In our work together, I offer a nonjudgmental and supportive space where you can explore these experiences and reconnect with your authentic self. Together, we’ll create room for growth, healing, and a renewed belief that things can get better.

Group Therapy
In addition to individual therapy, I facilitate and co-lead several therapy groups at Mind Body Co-op, including:
- DBT Graduate Processing Group, co-facilitated with Jamie Fleury, BS, MA Candidate. This group supports adults in integrating DBT skills through shared reflection and real-life application.
- Women’s Resilience Group, co-facilitated with Jamie Fleury, BS, MA Candidate, focuses on building emotional resilience, self-trust, and relational coping skills.
- Mixed Gender Trauma and Recovery Group co-facilitated with Zoe Grubbs, MA, LPC, offering relational support for adults processing complex and developmental trauma.
- Reclaiming Your Story: Trauma Healing & Recovery is a supportive group for adults seeking to heal from trauma, reconnect with inner strength, and reclaim their story—together, not alone. Open to all genders, this group offers a compassionate space for connection, reflection, and healing for adults ages 18 and older.
Group therapy can be a powerful extension of individual work, offering opportunities for connection, insight, and accountability.
I also share reflections on disability, care, and support in my writing. You can read more in my blog post, Myths About Disability and Support.
Outside the therapy room, I have volunteered with Tourette Syndrome Camp USA for over 20 years, serving as one of the Directors of Camper Success and supporting children with TS as they have a fun-filled week at an overnight camp.
