Pronouns – They/Them
Queer? Kinky? Gender non-conforming/expansive? ENM? Being different can feel hard. The pressures of living in a capitalist, cishet, supremacist world can feel overwhelming. Nevertheless, you are resilient, capable, and unwilling to settle for the status quo. However, sometimes, the space between who you are and who you want to be can feel vast and overwhelm your capacity to cope.
In those times, it is important to find a space where you feel accepted and affirmed as you are. Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I aim to create a non-judgemental, affirming, trauma-informed environment where my clients can explore and challenge themselves. In general, I enjoy working w/ queers facing life’s challenges/transitions and, specifically, people considering/living ENM, GNC people who want to explore their gender identity/expression, and kinky queers looking to understand/navigate BDSM in a safe/intentional way.
I hold a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. Over the past decade, my clinical practice and community work have focused on supporting LGBTQ+ folks, unhoused individuals, at-risk youth, and families in multiple treatment settings. I bring a social justice lens to all my work and consider how power, privilege, and oppression affect my clients and the therapeutic relationship.
As a relational therapist, I consider how the therapeutic relationship can replicate the client’s outside dynamics and provide insight and healing in the process. I am informed by family systems theory, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Collaborative Therapy. Our meetings are co-constructed, where you can align with your values, develop your own narratives, and prioritize your mental health goals. Together, we will explore your family of origin/past patterns to inform a more intentional future. Hope to connect soon. Stay weird, stay queer.
